We are endorsing this course from the University of Worcester.
"Private and academic tutoring is increasingly in demand especially in a shifting educational landscape.
More and more parents are considering this option to help their children due to large class sizes at school, or when their children are not performing to their full ability.
Private tutoring is an excellent, flexible way to make some extra money to supplement your income and it also enhances your CV if you are looking for permanent work. It can also be very rewarding, as you will have enthusiastic students who really want to improve their performance in your subject."

We have teamed up with Communicate-ed , a leading provider of online training for education professionals, to offer Continued Professional Development to our members.
Communicate-ed say: At Communicate-ed we are passionate about seeing people developed to their true potential. That passion drives our own training portfolio, but also extends beyond to other situations, including into the developing nations. We offer a range of modules providing training in various aspects of special educational need and our reputation has been built upon our courses dealing with Examination Access Arrangements. We aim to encourage educators to reach their true potential, and through training and provision of resources we equip educators to ensure that their students are able to do the same.
Communicate-ed are making 8 courses available to members of the Tutor’s Association with a 10% discount on their already very reasonable prices. The discount code will be emailed to all members. Each course usually costs £110, and with the discount will be £99 for a 10 day login, for an unlimited number of delegates from the same organisation.
Tutors may access the course individually, or Corporate Members may choose to run a course for their tutors centrally. For group training we recommend that the online courses (via video presentations) are shown through a digital projector with amplification. Each course is between 4 and 6 hours, and we recommend that delegates allow a day to access the course in a group, or an individual may choose to break one course up into, for example, 5 x 1 hour sessions.
