Designatory Letters

Each person on becoming a member shall be entitled to use the following designatory letters after their name indicating that they are a current member of the Association:

  • Associate: ATA
  • Member: MTA
  • Fellow: FTA

Membership Certificate




Each Member will receive a membership certificate indicating their membership grade, membership number and the date they were admitted into the Association and on the Members' Register of Tutors.

Members shall be entitled to use the Association’s branding on their business stationery and internet site signifying that they are a member of the Association.

  12. A sealed membership certificate indicating membership grade, number and the date admission into the Association and on to the Members' Register of tutors.

Law Express Legal Advice Service - A FREE Helpline!

Law Express Legal Advice ServiceThe Law Express Legal Advice Service is provided as part of the benefits available to TTA members. It is provided free of charge to our members who will be asked for their Association membership certificate number and a pass-code.

Law Express have been providing telephone legal support through its dedicated legal advice centre since 1995. Their customers include employee assistance schemes, insurers and businesses as well as individuals. They provide business legal advice, employee legal advice and personal legal advice. The work they do gives them a clear view of how their callers access and purchase legal services.

Members who call the legal advice helpline often want immediate, general advice so they are aware of their options. Or they may simply want a fresh perspective or information about their situation. Law Express aim to meet these needs quickly, and in a way that enables them to connect with our members.

Members can call Law Express about any personal, family or business legal issues and they will provide advice and further information on your particular and confidential needs.
