Becoming a member The Tutors' Association signifies becoming part of the UK government recognised professional body and inclusion in the Association’s Members' Register of Tutors and Tutoring Companies. You will also gain recognition of the fact that you have signed up to a recognised code of professional practice and ethics.
Members are able to use TTA's branding on their business stationery and website and use the designatory letters MTA by Individual Members.
Members also have the opportunity to stand for election to the board and help shape the future and the agenda as well as the opportunity to participate in the Association’s special interest groups and panels.
DBS CHECK SERVICE
Access to the DBS Check Service through TTA (if you are tutoring children or vulnerable adults) for each Individual Member and unlimited number of individuals referred by Corporate Members.
Once your membership application is processed, you will have access to the 'Members Resources' area of the website where details on how to start a DBS check are available.
Please note the fee for this service is NOT included in the membership fee.
