Shola Alabi
Fellow
Shola Alabi is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and Education Director at Exam Success Education Ltd. With over 20 years of experience, she is a qualified teacher and founder of Raising Successful Children Ltd. She created ‘Parent Box’, an online program supporting parents in navigating their children’s academic journey. Shola has worked with thousands of children as a teacher and tutor, earning an ‘Excellent’ rating from OFSTED. She is also a mother of two, a best-selling author, and an active member of The Tutors’ Association and the Association of Professional Tutoring Centres.
Sarah Brouner
Fellow
A former Physiologist and Clinical Governance manager, Sarah has been tutoring Sciences and Mathematics since 2015. Her bespoke approach is tailored to each student’s needs, unlocking potential one student at a time. With experience in both mainstream and home education, including complex SEN, Sarah fosters a lifelong curiosity and love of learning. Committed to excellence, Sarah and SB Tutoring have won multiple awards, including Professional Tutor of the Year 2022 and Best Home Schooling Tutor 2023.
John Nichols
Fellow
John Nichols is a distinguished Fellow of The Tutors’ Association (TTA), recognised for his extensive contributions to the tutoring profession. With a deep commitment to educational excellence, John has played a pivotal role in advocating for high standards and professional development within the industry. His expertise and leadership have significantly influenced the growth and success of TTA.
As a Fellow, John continues to support the association’s mission by providing guidance and mentorship to fellow tutors. His dedication to fostering a collaborative and supportive community is evident in his ongoing efforts to elevate the tutoring profession.
Adam Muckle
Honorary Fellow
Adam is an award-winning professional tutor, tutoring hundreds of students across the British Isles and abroad in person and online for over ten years. He served as President of The Tutors’ Association from March 2016 to March 2019, awarded Honorary Fellowship in the summer of 2018. He has been a professional tutor since 2009 in the arts subjects, primarily tutoring for pretests and scholarships aiming for leading independent schools.
Tim Morris

Tim Morris is a former President of The Tutors’ Association (TTA), where he made significant contributions to the advancement of the tutoring profession. With a wealth of experience in education and leadership, Tim was instrumental in driving key initiatives and policies that elevated the standards of tutoring across the UK. During his tenure, he focused on enhancing professional development opportunities and fostering a collaborative community among tutors.
Tim’s legacy at TTA includes his dedication to advocacy and his efforts to ensure that the association continues to support and represent the needs of tutors effectively. His leadership has left a lasting impact on the organisation and the wider educational landscape.
Ana Ambika Pindoria
Fellow
Ana is a founding member of The Tutors’ Association; she served as a Board Director & spearheaded the TTA Community Online Hubs through her passion for tutor networks promoting collaboration, sharing of knowledge and best tuition practice. While Ana was a director for TTA, she led webinars and live training events for their tutoring membership.
Professionally a qualified teacher, business mentor, trained life coach and academic tutor, Ana holds +20 years of expertise in the tutoring industry. Ana excelled in the classroom as a secondary maths teacher before leading 75+ tutoring franchisees for a globally leading education franchise. Ana is the founder of Get Smart Tutoring and Hi-Juice Ltd, and a business mentor for entrepreneurs and advocate for the University of Portsmouth.
Oliver Gilsenan
Fellow
Oliver has spent the past two decades working in the education sector. He co-owns Lionheart Education, a bespoke education provider, private tuition and consultancy firm established in 1989, and Lionheart School London.
In 2020 Oliver was elected to the board of The Tutors’ Association and served TTA as Honorary Treasurer.
Oliver most recently co-founded Lions Campus, London’s first recovery focused residence and hub for teenagers and young people who suffer from addictions, eating disorders and general mental health disorders.
Oliver is dedicated to making a positive change in the lives of young people and their families.
