The Tutors’ Association (TTA) had an incredible few days at Bett Global 2025 in London (22nd to the 24th of January, 2025), where we engaged with educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to champion the tuition sector. As one of the world’s largest education technology events, Bett provided a fantastic platform for us to connect with existing and prospective members, explore new partnerships, and advocate for the vital role of tuition in education.
Meeting Current and Future TTA Members
One of the highlights of our time at Bett was the opportunity to meet so many current and prospective members of TTA. From independent tutors to tuition companies, it was fantastic to hear about the challenges and successes they experience in their work and discuss how TTA can continue to support them. Our stand was a hub of activity, with visitors eager to learn more about the benefits of membership and the resources we offer to tutors and tuition businesses.
Launching the ‘Tutor Trail 2025’
This year, we were delighted to collaborate with Bett to introduce the ‘Tutor Trail 2025’, a dedicated route through the exhibition that guided tutors and tuition businesses to the most relevant exhibitors. This initiative provided a valuable roadmap for those in the tuition sector, ensuring they could make the most of their time at Bett by engaging with exhibitors offering services, technology, and insights directly applicable to their work.
Engaging with Key Industry and Government Stakeholders
Bett 2025 also provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with a wide variety of potential partners, including representatives from the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Department for Education, Google, BESA, and educational organisations from around the world. These conversations reinforced the growing recognition of tuition as a critical part of the education landscape and opened doors for future collaborations to enhance the sector’s reach and impact.
A Standout Drinks Reception on January 23rd
One of the standout moments of Bett was our TTA Drinks Reception on Thursday, January 23rd, from 4–6 pm. The event was an incredible success, attracting a vibrant crowd of educators, policymakers, and key figures from the tuition industry. We were honoured to welcome a number of distinguished guests, and the evening provided a fantastic opportunity for networking, knowledge-sharing, and celebrating the tuition profession.
Connecting with TTA Partners and Industry Leaders
It was wonderful to see several of our close partners at Bett, including Pencil Spaces, who took the opportunity to interview our President, John Nichols, about the future of tuition. We were also pleased to connect with fellow tuition organisations such as Qualified Tutor (QT) and other key voices in the sector. These interactions highlighted the strong and growing ecosystem of tuition professionals committed to raising standards and expanding opportunities for students.
Looking Ahead to Bett 2026
Bett 2025 was a fantastic experience, and we are already thinking about how we can build on this success next year. We are keen to continue discussions with Bett about how we can provide even more value to the tuition sector in 2026, ensuring that tutors and tuition companies gain maximum benefit from the event.
