China Trade Mission 2026
TTA Trade Mission to China and Hong Kong
The Tutors’ Association (TTA) is excited to announce an upcoming trade mission to China and Hong Kong, from Sunday 13th of September to Tuesday the 22nd of September 2026. This mission will provide unparalleled opportunities for members to explore one of the world’s fastest-growing education markets, connect with key stakeholders, and develop new business relationships in this dynamic region. You must complete this form no later than 23:00 on Friday the 19th of June if you would like to participate.
Key Details Destinations:
The mission will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

- Meetings with education agents, schools, and potential business partners.
- Insightful sessions to understand the education landscape and how your business may be able to work in it, whether alone or in collaboration with local partners.
- Networking events to forge valuable international connections.
Participation Options
TTA will offer three flexible options for participation, catering to individual needs, whether members prefer to attend in person or be represented remotely.
Option 1: ‘All-inclusive’ option, including all meetings, accommodation and internal transfers (including internal travel in the target markets). Food, drink and flights to/from the UK are NOT included. Cost: £2,750 +VAT (£5,250 +VAT for 2 delegates).
Option 3: ‘Representation’ option. TTA will represent the member and pass contact details for relevant contacts back to them. The member will not be travelling on the trade mission themselves with this option. You will be invited to UK or online events before/after the trade mission. Cost: £200 +VAT.

Next Steps
- We will collect registrations for the trade mission and deposit payments (50%) up to the deadline on the 19th of June 2026.
- We will confirm that the trade mission is going ahead no later than the 24th of June 2026. We strongly advise that you do not make any firm bookings (e.g. flights) until this date. If the trade mission is not going ahead, all deposit payments will be refunded in full. Please purchase appropriate travel insurance as soon as we confirm the trade mission is going ahead and ensure it covers cancellation costs.
- We will invoice you for the second 50% balancing payment upon confirmation that the trade mission is going ahead as well as providing you with a form to submit your details for the trade mission brochure. The second 50% balancing payment and the trade mission brochure details are both due on the 24th of July 2026.
- You would then need to provide details for the Trade Mission Brochure by no later than Friday the 24th of July.
- We will host a mandatory pre-mission briefing for the China and Hong Kong Trade Mission online at 10-11am (UK time) on Thursday the 27th of August.
- We will publish the up to date itinerary no later than Thursday the 3rd of September.
- Delegates will make their own arrangements to travel to Beijing, China, arriving no later than Sunday the 13th of September at 11:00 local time.
- Delegates will depart from Hong Kong on Tuesday the 22nd of September.
- Please note that a maximum of 30 delegates can be accommodated. If more than 30 valid registrations are received, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to delegates that have both completed this registration form and paid the full invoice.
