Dear Members,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from The Tutors’ Association. We hope that you can take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved break. Here’s to a prosperous and Happy New Year as we look forward to 2025!
It was a delight to see so many of you on Thursday the 5th of December at the TTA London Regional Event. The evening was a great success, with lively discussions and plenty of networking. A special thanks to our sponsors, Morton Michel and Pencil Spaces, whose generous support made the event possible.
December has been a particularly productive month for TTA as we continue to prepare for an exciting year ahead. This includes ongoing engagement with government and media to advocate for mandatory Enhanced DBS checks as a minimum standard across the tuition sector. Safeguarding remains a top priority, and we are committed to ensuring the highest standards are upheld for the benefit of all students and families.
We are also thrilled to announce the launch of our new international business development programme, which includes a Spring 2025 trade mission to China. This initiative is designed to help our members explore opportunities in key international markets and expand their reach globally. You can find more details about this programme here.
Closer to home, we continue to offer support for members on compliance queries and events, and we are busy finalising plans for our flagship events in 2025. Keep an eye out for updates regarding the National Tutoring Awards 2025 and the National Tutors’ Conference 2025, both of which promise to be bigger and better than ever.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement throughout the year. I look forward to working together in 2025 to champion the tuition sector and provide valuable opportunities for our members.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
John Nichols
President, The Tutors’ Association
