President’s Update – November ’23

The Tutors’ Association has continued to go from strength to strength and the National Tutors’ Conference, held on the 26th of October this year, was one of the clearest indications of this. It was, indeed, a tenth birthday party that everyone in TTA can be proud of and was the largest tuition-focussed event held in person that we are aware of. Thank you to all those who attended, spoke, networked, contributed and made it a wonderful day.

In addition to the conference, we are moving forward with an ambitious programme to better support members in the coming months. Very soon we will be releasing our events brochure for 2024 and we will be building on the success of 2023’s events and the feedback from various delegates as well as launching a new event that will represent the growing links between the tuition sector and schools. We will continue with an ambitious schedule of regional events, spread across the UK, as well as increasing our efforts to support TTA members with internationalisation, helping members to export quality tuition services around the world in collaboration with our colleagues at the UK Department for Business and Trade.

TTA continues to welcome new members and provide a wealth of support on everything from niche compliance issues to CPD and representation. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events, either online or in person, and being there for when you need TTA most.
